Dr. Lucy Amado, author of Conflict Resolution Books published by The National, which already has a second edition, also participated as co-author in the Book VII International Conference on World Mediation Forum.
The aim of this book is to disseminate the papers presented at the VII International Conference of the World Mediation Forum (WMF), held on Isla Margarita, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, from 27 to 29 November 2009, whose central theme was: Mediation, Justice and Governance: A CHANCE FOR PEACE, as a contribution of mediators that every two years attending the appointment at any of the member countries of the FMM, which are part of 77 countries from different continents inspired by the promise of mediation to meet the individual and collective needs, as using third generation to prevent, resolve and contain conflict, far in excess of the legal process as an option to live and do justice with higher quality and balance in the exercise of power.
This book collects in its pages the presentations of expert speakers from Venezuela and international from 27 November to 29 gathered at the Hotel Laguna Sea Isla de Margarita for participation in the conference "Mediation, Justice and Governance: An opportunity for peace" and its objective was to address how mediation is one of the tools for justice through good governance can be achieved and whose meeting was attended by professionals from all sectors, both domestic and foreign specialties and was attended by representatives from approximately 70 countries the world.
